WHERE WILL YOUR PET BE STAYING?

When your pet comes to stay at Bunnies Barn, we want him/her to be as comfortable and stress free as possible.

The smaller pets such as gerbils, hamsters, rats and chinchillas can be bought to the boarding centre in the cage they are used to if this is preferable, although cages are available if required as it can be a problem transporting your pets normal cage if it is on the larger size.  

For the boarding rabbits and guinea pigs, available are 4ft, 6ft and 8ft hutches, there is an additional charge to board your pets within the 8ft hutches. Each cage is provided with a water bottle, food bowl and numerous toys. If your furry friend does prefer its own items, then please feel free to bring them along. If your rabbit or guinea pig is an indoor pet, you may bring the cage your pet is used to although inside cages are available if more convenient. Spaces for house rabbits and guinea pigs are limited.

The cages are cleaned regularly whilst the toilet area or litter tray is cleaned every day. Each time the hutch or cage is cleaned, they are fully washed out with a pet disinfectant. Each hutch is fitted with a catch and bolt to make sure there is no escapees!! On an evening, the boarders are put away in their hutch and covered with hutch covers, keeping them protected away from any rain or bad weather and any unwanted guests.

For the rabbits and guinea pigs living in the hutches, they have access to a run on a daily basis, weather permitting. Each run is provided with toys for their entertainment.

It is our aim to keep everyone as content and as relaxed as possible to ensure they enjoy their stay at Bunnies Barn.
